He said that the Georgian authorities should apologize to the president and all of Russia, and also called for a criminal case against the TV presenter.
“It is necessary to impose on the country the most severe sanctions that do not affect the Georgians, the citizens of Russia,” said Kadyrov.
On July 7, presenter Georgy Gabunia began his authoring program PS on the Georgian TV channel Rustavi 2 with an obscene row at Putin in Russian.
“Rustavi 2” removed the presenter from work for two months.
Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze and head of state Salome Zurabishvili commented on the incident.
State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin expressed the opinion that George Gabunia should be extradited to Russia and judged.
