Former French president Francois Hollande took the first step toward what might be his second career in the next few days when he took part in one of the largest theater festivals in the world.

The socialist leader, who left the political stage after the 2017 victory of President Emmanuel Macaron, appeared for 15 minutes in a play at the Avignon theater festival in southern France.

Hollande was able to perform well in the novel on European affairs from the perspective of one of the most famous novelists in France, Laurent Jude.

Hollande left the Elysee Palace in Paris in May 2017, and since then has had no clear media or political presence, and has retained his vision and view on many political issues.

Hollande suffered numerous terrorist attacks during his reign, which was why he did not win a new term in the Elysee during 2017.
