The guidelines proposed by the management of the insubordinate France (LFI) after the defeat in the European elections were adopted by a vote of the militants, announced Monday the coordinator of the party Adrien Quatennens.

The text of the strategic assessment of the movement was adopted to nearly 87%, in an online vote of 20,500 activists organized after the representative assembly of 22 and 23 June, said the LFI deputy of the North at a conference press in Paris.

This text recognizes the failure of LFI's anti-Macron referendum strategy for the 26 May poll (6.3% of the votes for the Rogue), in a context of "alleged duel, in fact a real duo" composed by LREM and the RN. But the "disengagement" strategy, the populist rhetoric and the role of LFI as support for a "citizen revolution" are reaffirmed.

The text detailing the changes in the internal functioning of the movement, criticized for its democratic deficit, was adopted at 84.4%.

Among these changes, a coordination of the various authorities entrusted to the deputy and close to Jean-Luc Mélenchon Adrien Quatennens; a political agora to convince activists, management and experts on line and strategy; or a meeting every three months of local action groups, which will also have an annual budget and allocated in a participatory way of 100,000 euros.

The strategy for the March municipal elections was adopted at 88.6%. It consists of many door-to-door campaigns to involve residents and local associations in the construction of the list of citizens that will support LFI, which will not appoint any list leaders in the immediate future or lead negotiations with others. political parties.

A series of markers, mandatory for any list in which LFI participates (participatory democracy, short circuits, free organic canteens, opposition to the outsourcing of services ...), has also been adopted to nearly 90%.

Asked about a weak participation of the militants compared to about 400,000 registered on the online platform - a form of membership, but without subscription - Adrien Quatennens said that the "level of involvement, very different from a registrant to the other ", was" not far below previous consultations ".

While the movement recorded the departure of several executives dissatisfied with the lack of listening to management, Adrien Quatennens assured that since the representative assembly, nearly 300 people had registered on the platform.
