Tsipras congratulated the leader of the "New Democracy" with a victory in the elections in Greece

“Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has just contacted Kyriakos Mitsotakis on the phone and congratulated him on the great victory of the New Democracy,” the agency was told at the party’s headquarters.

It is noted that the ceremony of transfer of authority will take place on July 8 in the official residence of the Prime Minister immediately after Mitsotakis took the oath in the Presidential Palace.

Earlier it was reported that, according to exit polls, Mitsotakisa's “New Democracy” won the early elections in Greece with 40.5% of the vote.
