Stormy showers will start on the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, then south of the Garonne in the afternoon.

The weather will be sunny throughout the country except in the southwest where clouds and thunderstorms, locally strong, mark this day Monday, according to Météo-France forecasts.

In the southwest, clouds manage to gain ground early in the morning. Stormy showers are triggered first on the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, then south of the Garonne in the afternoon. These showers strengthen over the hours on the south of Aquitaine and Occitanie, with locally strong thunderstorms. The clouds are gaining the regions going from Languedoc to the south of Poitou with possible waves in places.

Highs up to 38 degrees in Provence

In the rest of the country, good weather dominates, with a generous sun. In the early morning, we wait between 10 and 16 degrees on the northern half, 15 to 20 degrees on the south, 20 to 25 degrees on the edge of the Mediterranean. The maximum is between 20 and 25 degrees along the coast of Manche, 26 to 31 on the rest of the country, up to 33 to 38 degrees in Provence.
