With the support of the UAE, the opening of an integrated solar water pumping unit in Al-Dima and Al-Ghegheh districts in the governorate of Mirkha Al-Sufali in Shabwa governorate, benefiting from the residents of the two regions and the surrounding villages. The representative of the UAE Red Crescent Society in Shabwa Hamid Al Shamsi stressed that the integrated water pumping unit project is part of the vital projects targeting the UAE and its wise leadership. He pointed to the UAE's efforts to solve the problems of water shortage and scarcity in Shabwa, especially as it suffers from shortage.

Marwan Barouis, Deputy Director of Marwa Barwais, expressed his thanks to the UAE leadership, government and people for their efforts to support infrastructure, services and relief to alleviate the suffering of Yemeni citizens in the liberated areas.

In their turn, the residents and residents of the beneficiary regions expressed their sincere thanks and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates and its humanitarian arm, the Red Crescent Authority, for their efforts to implement vital service projects to alleviate their suffering.

In addition, the UAE Red Crescent said more than 4,000 fishermen in the areas of Al-Muteena, Al-Jalabah, Ras Al-Husay, Al-Nakheel, Al-Ghuwaiq, Al-Buqaa, Al-Bekaa and Al-Faza will benefit from this center, which is part of 24 fish landing centers that were rehabilitated and built by the UAE on the western coast of Yemen .

The Commission pointed out that this project will end the suffering of fishermen, especially that this region was lacking a fish landing center, indicating that the workers in the field of fish fishing in the region began their work, which will benefit the population of more than 9000 people.

The head of the local council, Hassan Ali Ibrahim Hanbik, confirmed that the fish landing center, which was established with the support of the United Arab Emirates and supervised by the UAE Red Crescent Authority, will contribute significantly to improving the livelihoods of fishermen in the area and adjacent areas.

For their part, Yemeni fishermen said that the center gave them great moral motivation to return to the practice of hunting, marketing and selling fish to improve their living conditions and increase their incomes. He praised the great efforts made by the UAE through its humanitarian arm, the UAE Red Crescent, Generous support in various humanitarian, service and development areas along the villages and areas of the West Coast.
