Greece's Stefanos Tsitsipas, sixth in the world, was eliminated in the first round of the Wimbledon tournament, beaten by Italian Thomas Fabbiano, who was only 102nd in the world on Monday in London.
Fabbiano (30) won in five sets, 6-4, 3-6, 6-4, 6-7 (8/6), 6-3 against Tsitsipas who reached the round of 16 in 2018 .
The 20-year-old Greek, seeded N.7, saved two match points in the fourth set but could only delay the deadline against an authoritative Fabbiano.
