Jérémy Chardy and Benoît Paire qualified for the second round of Wimbledon, thanks to their respective wins over Martin Klizan and Juan Ignacio Londero on Monday in London.

Chardy (81st overall) beat Slovakia's Klizan (56) in four sets, 3-6, 6-0, 6-3, 6-4.

Le Palois, who had already played at Queen's, will face the winner of the match between the Belgian David Goffin, seeded N.21, and the American Bradley Klahn.

Pair, seeded N.28, beat Argentine Londero (62nd overall) in four sets, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, 7-6 (7/4).

In the next round, he will face Spain's Roberto Carballes Baena or Serbia's Miomir Kecmanovic.
