UN Security Council July 16 at the request of Russia will discuss the law on language in Ukraine

This was told TASS by the permanent representative of Peru to the UN, Gustavo Mesa-Quadra, who took over as chairman of the Security Council.

“Yes, this meeting will be linked to the language law. It will be held at the request of Russia on July 16, ”he noted.

Earlier, the UN mission gave Kiev recommendations on the law on language.

Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavel Rozenko threatened the “new government” in the country with consequences in the case of attempts to repeal the law on the state language. Also in Kiev did not rule out a new "Maidan" in the event of its cancellation.
