“It has never happened before that the Foreign Minister, making an important decision, didn’t put the attention of the head of state or the person who is responsible for foreign policy in his team,” Kravchuk said.

He recalled that according to the constitution of Ukraine, "the head of state is responsible for international politics."

“It was impossible for Klimkin to do that,” the politician concluded.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky called on Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman to bring to disciplinary the country's foreign minister, Pavel Klimkin, because of the situation “with the note of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation dated June 25 concerning the release of captured Ukrainian sailors and the note-response from the Ukrainian side ".
