The Fujairah Court of Appeal has begun hearing an Arab case accused of assaulting an employee while performing his work in a hospital emergency department after he refused to complete the procedure for treating his injured child in her ear. The details of the incident came back several months ago when the accused went to a private medical center carrying his injured little girl in her ear and asked the receptionist to turn her over to the emergency department as soon as possible, but the employee asked him to show his ID and insurance card. His daughter could not bring them. The employee contacted the police and claimed that the defendant had beaten him. The court of first instance acquitted the defendant and the prosecution resumed the case.
