The National Elections Commission (NEC) broadcast an informative video to inform citizens of the mechanism of access to their registered names on electoral lists for the FNC elections 2019.

The Committee announced today the lists of electoral bodies of all the Emirates for the Federal National Council elections 2019, which included 337 thousand and 738 members to witness an increase of up to 50.58% compared to lists of electoral bodies for the year 2015, which registered 224 thousand and 281 citizens and citizenship.

The electoral lists for the year 2019 witnessed a remarkable presence of Emirati women at 50.62% compared to 49.38% for males. This highlights the great belief of the UAE leadership in the role of women in developing the parliamentary work process and serving the country.

The number of young people in the 2019 lists (from the age of 21 to 40 years) was 61.32% of the total lists of electoral bodies. Aged 31 to 30 years is 30.04%, while the age group 31 to 40 years is 31.28%, which allows for a wide participation of Emirati youth in the electoral process which will be spread across all regions of the UAE to select their representatives under the dome of the Council Federal National.

The list of electoral bodies listed by the Rulers' Board of Directors and their geographical distribution includes 101549 members in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, 60772 members in the Emirate of Dubai, 64293 members in the Emirate of Sharjah, 10165 members in the Emirate of Ajman, 6653 members in the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain and 55289 members In the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, 39017 members in the Emirate of Fujairah.
