The disappearance of the Swiss national team while swimming in mysterious circumstances

The Swiss Football Federation announced on Sunday that the attack on Florianna Ismaili had mysteriously disappeared after swimming in Lake Como.

The Swiss club Yang Boise, who plays Ismaili in his squad, also announced that the player had suddenly disappeared after swimming.

"The police continue to search, we are very concerned, but we have not given up on the possibility of a return to normal," the statement said.

The 24-year-old Ismaili hired a boat with a friend and then jumped into the water but did not reappear on the roof, Italian news agency ANSA reported.

Ismaili has been playing for Young Boys since 2011 and has played 33 appearances for her country, most recently against Serbia on June 14.

The media outlets were interested in the incident, which attracted media attention and a great deal of sympathy from the public, which continued to search for the player using aircraft.
