China's Vivo unveiled its first Augmented Reality glasses with its new 5G smartphone, which has yet to be unveiled.

The company explained that the enhanced reality glasses have five operating modes: face recognition, object recognition, gaming, desktop work, 5G theater to watch high-definition 3D movies.

It has not yet revealed the clarity of the transparent screen or usable range of vision, and everything that has so far revealed that the glasses are working with six degrees of freedom (6DoF) and can be connected to the phone 5G.

Vivo did not disclose the date or price of the glasses, which it says is "a new way of interacting with the 5G era," but is expected to launch in the same period as its next smartphone, the Vivo Nexus 5G, later this year.
