The attack took place on June 23 at 6:05 pm on Aslanbek Sharipov Street, when the traffic police inspector stopped a foreign car and demanded that the driver produce documents. In response, the driver caused knife injuries to the police officer and employee of the Rosguards in the Chechen Republic.
Two injured law enforcement officers were hospitalized. The attacker was eliminated by return fire.
