USA's Sofia Kenin, the 30th player in the world, won Sunday's WTA Majorca, Spain, the second title of her career, beating Belinda Bencic (N.13) of Switzerland in three sets 6-7 (7 / 2), 7-6 (7/5) and 6-4.

On the grass of Santa Ponça, in the Balearic Islands, Kenin saved three match points in the second heat before breaking away at 4-4 in the final set to win in 2 hours and 42 minutes of play.

This is Kenin's second title (20 years) after the one won in Hobart, Australia, in January, and his first trophy won on grass. Auspicious for her as she approaches the prestigious Wimbledon tournament (July 1-4).
