Moroccan actress Samira Said ignited the atmosphere in the stands of the Peace Stadium before the match between Morocco and Namibia opened on Sunday in the opening round of Group D of the African Nations Cup 2019 in Egypt, which ended Morocco's 1-0 win over Namibia.

The artist Samira Said was keen to support her country where she was in the stands and the crowd rushed to greet her. The Moroccan actress greeted the greeting with great cheers before the start of the match.

Al-Salam Stadium officials were keen to play Moroccan singer's songs in the external speakers, along with some songs by Algerian singer Cheb Khaled and Egyptian Amr Diab.

The fans, who were keen to attend the game from the stands, were very much in tune with the songs and the voice of the Moroccan singer who set out through the inner speakers of the stadium.

The match also witnessed the presence of Mohamed Taimoumi, Noureddine Naybet and Aziz Bouderbala, the legends of the Moroccan football, to support the team known as the Atlas Lions.

Samira Said has revived the opening ceremony of the 2006 African Nations Cup, organized by Egypt, while the Egyptian artist Hakim revived the ceremony of the current version.
