The huge esplanade that runs along the Letna Park, a hotbed of protest 30 years ago, is Sunday, June 23, black world. The organizers and the media speak of 250,000 people. Crowds of men, women and children are passing Czech and European flags. The atmosphere is good child. Many came with humorous signs or banners.

Actors from civil society, artists and musicians take turns on stage. Two names come back: those of the head of government Andrej Babis and his Minister of Justice Marie Benesova, accused of protecting him from any legal proceedings. The head of government, the second richest man in the country, is under investigation for fraud against European subsidies and alleged conflicts of interest.

" We are in the center of Europe, it must not be the Wild West. He wants to govern the country as one governs a company, "worries a protester. Teresa Capalova came with her husband from southern Moravia. This is his first event in Prague. " We have two children, " she says, " and we teach them that it's not good to fly. But our Prime Minister has stolen millions ".

Regularly, the crowd chants " resignation ", but no one has an illusion. Although this Sunday's protest is the largest since the Velvet Revolution 30 years ago, the Prime Minister continues to claim that he has nothing to reproach himself with. The protesters know it: their fight will be long.
