Eight universities in the UAE have been on the list of the top 800 universities worldwide for the second year in a row. Some of them have achieved remarkable progress in the centers, reaching more than 100 centers, compared to 2019 ranking among the top 2.8% Of the universities in the Arab world, according to the latest classification of the «QS» to rank the best 1000 international universities in 2020.
UAE universities were ranked among the world's top universities in 2020. Khalifa University of Science and Technology ranked 268 worldwide, UAE University ranked 329 globally, American University of Sharjah ranked 371, and the American University of Dubai University of Sharjah from 651 to 700, Zayed University 651 to 700, and University of Abu Dhabi from 701 to 750, and Ajman University among the universities of the Center from 751 to 800.
According to the QS classification of international universities, Khalifa University has progressed 47 places, from 315 in the 2019 ranking to 268 in the new classification, with the UAE University advancing 21 and the American University of Sharjah The University of Sharjah has provided 50 centers, Zayed University has provided 100 centers, Ajman University has provided 50 centers and Abu Dhabi University has maintained its position.
