LONDON (Reuters) - Liverpool have decided to enter the race to join Frenchman Antoine Grisman, who announced his departure from Atletico Madrid at the end of the season.

Gryzman, who was crowned the World Cup champion with Russia, was expected to move to Barcelona this summer, said Gil Marin, chief executive of Atletico Madrid recently, noting that Barça had agreed with Atletico since March.

But the 28-year-old's future remains uncertain, with Barcelona starting to think of the return of former star Neymar at the expense of Grisman, and Manchester United and Paris St Germain are still watching former Real Sociedad.

Liverpool have not made any summer deals so far, on the contrary left striker Daniel Storig and left-back Alberto Moreno after the end of their contracts at the end of the season.
