Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has announced that it is in the process of implementing a plan to expand early intervention centers to treat and rehabilitate children from birth to six years of age, in line with increased demand for services, said Dr. Manal Trim, Executive Director of the Primary Health Care Sector.

Tarim explained that the Authority has developed major tracks to care for those who are concerned and early detection of diseases, and also harnesses all its potential to provide a better health future for the owners of the concern, which ensures them a distinctive health experience in its medical facilities.

She pointed out the tracks set by the Authority to achieve Dubai's strategy, foremost among which is the "Health Benefits for Owners" program, which aims to prepare a special register for all stakeholders, implement an integrated program for the comprehensive classification system for diagnosis and communicate with decision makers to issue the necessary regulations and regulations To ensure the application of the program.

The second track of the integrative health policy of stakeholders focuses on ensuring the integration of people of concern and society based on a high-quality health care system, with the aim of promoting programs based on equality between stakeholders and members of society, especially those associated with health and social activities.

According to Dr. Tarim, the third track of the rehabilitation and mental health services program for those with an interest is the preparation and development of rehabilitation programs, mental health programs for those with disabilities and those who are vulnerable to any disability. The programs are accessible to all within the framework of primary health care services , Critical care and development clinics within the Authority, as well as the development and provision of comprehensive and integrated rehabilitation services, ensuring the provision of home services and community rehabilitation services, and providing an improved package of community mental health services and psychological services Chronic and acute and critical situations.

TRIM will work through the diagnosis and early intervention program to ensure the provision of high quality diagnostic and early intervention services in primary health care centers and development clinics, and develop early intervention models that address the physical, psychological and social aspects of the recipient.

She added that through the early detection program, the Agency would provide survey services, early detection, case-situation analysis, and the creation of an integrated and integrated model of services for surveying, screening and early identification for children with disabilities. Tarim stressed the keenness of the Commission to introduce the early detection program systematically within the regulations in all nursery schools and private clinics of children in the private sector and to develop and test the possibility of using a tool for early detection of disabilities in children through inclusion in primary health care services.

She added that the plan to expand the establishment of early intervention centers, will be in two phases, the first allocated two morning and evening to receive patients, in the center of the health Mazhar, the second phase to establish other centers for early intervention in other health centers.
