Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has accused the Israeli intelligence service of fabricating intelligence information linking Tehran to attacks on tankers in international waters off the UAE port of Fujairah.

Zarif said he had previously warned of incidents and fabricated news, adding that what he called "Group B" is now crying after Mossad fabricated this information.

Zarif uses the term "Group B" to denote John Bolton, US national security advisor, Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Saudi Crown Prince, and Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.

The Iranian official said in a tweet published on Wednesday that the Mossad provided false information to US national security adviser John Bolton, whom Zarif described as "the false boy."

Zarif said Bolton was "a boy (group B) weeping again after the Mossad fabricated false information about Iran's involvement in the sabotage operation in Fujairah." "We know the consequences when you believe their lies.

Last week, Bolton said during his visit to the UAE that he was almost certain that Iran was behind the sabotage operation that targeted four commercial vessels, including two Saudi nationals, near the UAE port of Fujairah on May 12 and that he would present his evidence to the UN Security Council.
