A 48-year-old woman and a 62-year-old man are believed to have posted on social media a picture of Emiliano Sala's body, who died in January on the plane that was transporting him to Cardiff.

Two people, suspected of having broadcast on the social networks a photo taken at the morgue of the body of the Argentine footballer Emiliano Sala, who died in January in a plane crash, will appear in court, the police said.

Prosecuted for computer crime

A 48-year-old woman, Sherry Bray, is being prosecuted for computer crimes, for obstructing the course of justice and for sending an indecent or offensive message. A 62-year-old man, Christopher Ashford, is being prosecuted for computer crime. They will appear in court Swindon July 10, announced in a statement the police in Wiltshire, South West England. The police did not specify how the suspects could have obtained the images.

The autopsy of Emiliano Sala's body was performed on 7 February. Police had learned of the Twitter broadcast of an alleged photo of the autopsy on February 13 and launched an investigation, arresting the suspects on February 18.

The body of the player found two weeks after the crash

The 28-year-old FC Nantes striker was transferred to the Cardiff club in January. It was during a trip to the Welsh city that the Argentinian died in the crash of his plane, which crashed in the Channel on 21 January. His body was found in the carcass of the aircraft, more than two weeks after the accident, 67 meters deep. The pilot's body, David Ibbotson, was not found.
