“The Polish delegation of seven people was again allowed to inspect the aggregates, subassemblies and structural elements of the Tu-154M stored at the Smolensk (Northern) airfield,” the text says.

It is noted that the representatives of the Polish side again examined the fragments of the aircraft of interest to them, additional interrogations of eyewitnesses to the incident were conducted.

“The Russian investigation has no doubts about the circumstances of the crash. All the collected materials unreservedly testify to the erroneous actions of the crew, who continued the landing approach in the absence of visibility, ”the ministry stressed.

In early May, the Russian IC announced their intention to provide representatives of the competent authorities of Poland with access to the wreckage of a crashed Tu-154.

The plane with Lech Kaczynski and a number of high-ranking Polish politicians on board crashed on April 10, 2010, when approaching the airport at Smolensk.

The victims of the tragedy were 96 people.
