At the same time, they explained that the form of the corresponding invitation did not involve sending an official delegation from Moscow.
“The Russian side will be represented by a diplomat of our embassy in Paris,” the ministry concluded.
At the end of May, it was reported that Moscow received an invitation to celebrations on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Allied landings in Normandy.
