Russia and China have condemned the United States for preparing the site for nuclear testing

The document notes that Russia and China strongly support the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT).

"Russia and China point out that the US declaration of non-ratification of the CTBT and the decision to begin preparing the site for possible nuclear tests cause a serious blow to the CTBT," RIA Novosti quoted as saying.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry called the provocation of Washington’s statement that Russia allegedly violated the CTBT.

The Foreign Ministry called the purpose of such an accusation the US desire to divert the world from Washington’s refusal to ratify the treaty.
