The al-Houthi group announced on Wednesday the control of 20 military positions of the Saudi army in Najran, south of the kingdom.

"They have controlled more than 20 military positions in the Najran axis, which is adjacent to Yemen," said Brig. He explained that the control came after a major offensive military operation during the past 72 hours.

Earlier on Wednesday, the Houthi-based Al-Masirah channel reported that their gunmen launched an attack on Saudi army posts off Najran.

Brigadier Saeed said that the gunmen attacked the positions of the Saudi army in Najran from three axes, and that more than 200 elements of the coalition forces - led by Saudi Arabia - were killed and wounded, and captured several others.

For his part, Aziz Rashid, military spokesman for the Houthi group in contact with the island, said that the Houthi forces managed to destroy and break more than 20 vehicles and armored, and seized weapons and military equipment and took control of about 20 km2 in Najran.

Rashid revealed that the coalition fighters launched more than 75 raids to assign their troops, but the attempts failed, and promised to broadcast scenes of this attack in the future.

On the other hand, Al-Houthi group announced that it had taken control of the two fronts of the page and the oatmeal in the Al-Jouf governorate and the Al-Yatma area in fighting areas in Al-Jawf governorate, adjacent to the Saudi border.
