“It was preliminarily established that the staff of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine prepared abstracts for Vladimir Zelensky’s briefing, while continuing to work for Petro Poroshenko,” the presidential press service said.

It is noted that the corresponding comment was published after the appearance of accusations against Zelensky, who, during a press conference in Brussels, used Poroshenko’s quotes at a congress of the European Solidarity party during the press conference.

On the fact of the incident began an internal investigation.

The administration Zelensky also noted that they consider what happened as a diversion of some employees of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry and a provocation by Poroshenko’s team.

Earlier, Zelensky at a meeting with European Council President Donald Tusk said that Ukraine’s entry into the European Union would be the death of the Russian “imperial project”.

It was also reported that during the talks the parties discussed the upcoming EU-Ukraine summit.
