War season and gangs in the Eid al-Fitr movie race

Each year, the biggest names in the Arab world participate to compete for the title of the most watched movies during the Eid holiday.

This year, Arab films are competing with Hollywood and Hollywood films for Eid al Fitr, and the audience is waiting for the Eid series after the most exciting series of Ramadan, so here is a list of some promising films that are expected to be successful.

1- Arab films

The film "The Corridor" (Egyptian) revolves around the heroic sacrifices of Egyptian special forces fighters during the war of attrition.

The film is directed by Sherif Arafa and starring Ahmed Ezz, Hind Sabri, Ahmed Rizk and Asma Abu El Yazid. The music of the film is composed by musician Omar Khairat, and illustrates one of the most heroic battles fought by the Egyptian soldiers.

The Pharaoh Campaign

An Egyptian film revolves around the young Yahya, known as "Pharaoh", who runs the largest network of organized assassinations in Egypt, and is forced to go to Syria to free his lover.

The film was directed by Raouf Abdel Aziz, composed by Karim Hassan Bashir and produced by Mohamed El Sabki, starring Amr Saad, Mahmoud Abdel Moghni, Mohamed Lotfi and Rouby.

It is adapted from the seven Japanese Samurai movie, which was also quoted in another Egyptian film, "Shams Al Zanati".

Casablanca

An Egyptian film about three friends who make up a gang of pirates and acquire fame in their field known as the "barbarians of the sea". They are therefore assigned to a large piracy by a European mafia gang to steal a diamond cargo from a ship called Casablanca.

The film starring Emir Karara, Ghada Adel, Khalid Ergensh, and Iyad Nassar. It was written by Hisham Hilal, directed by Peter Mimi and produced by Synergy.

Blue Elephant 2

The second part of the Egyptian film "The Blue Elephant," featuring the same actors in the first part: Karim Abdel Aziz and Nelly Karim, will be screened at the festival. They will be joined by Tunisian actress Hend Sabri.

The Jordanian star Iyad Nassar is a guest of honor in an important role, led by director Marwan Hamed and author Ahmed Murad.

Mohammed Hussein

An Egyptian film about a driver working in a major hotel, exposed to many comedy situations that affect his character and his life, and involved in the killing of a famous French artist.

The film starring Mohammed Saad, and co-directed by Anam Salousa, Samir Sabri, and Mai Selim. It is written by Sharif Adel and directed by Mohamed Ali.

Ramez Jalal takes a break from joking with the stars and finally appears in a real film. The film revolves around someone masquerading as a police officer in order to reach the girl he loves.

The film starring Ramez Galal, Bayoumi Fuad, Mohamed Tharwat and Jamila Awad. And directed by Mahmoud Karim.

Hollywood films

" X-Men Dark Phoenix " ( X-Men Dark Phoenix)

The film features one of the most powerful characters in the X-Men, Phoenix, played by Sophie Turner, one of the heroes of the famous series Game of Thrones, with Jennifer Lawrence, and James McAvoy. The film is directed by Simon Kenberg, and written by John Byrne and Chris Claremont.

"John Wick 3: Parabellum"

Although the supplement was already released in other countries in May, it will be launched in June in Arab countries.

The film includes stars including Ian McShane, Halle Berry, Lawrence Fishburne and others.

The film follows John Wake as he struggles on his way to New York, after becoming the target of the world's most dangerous killers.

The romantic drama follows a young couple who fall in love 24 hours a day. The story goes on as a romantic poet who must prove his love for a world in which data aspires.

The film revolves around love against all the odds and effects of random events on our lives.

The film starring Yara Shahidi, Charles Milton, and directed by Rie Russo Young, about the novel "The Sun is also a star" by Nicola Yun.

A comedic thriller in 2016. In this part, the beloved dog Max adapts to great changes in life, as the owner has a small child that causes great anxiety. Max must protect the boy on a family trip.

The film is based on the South Korean film "Ode to My Father", which was released in 2014 and won more than 20 awards.
