“Lviv regional administration, accept the cipher: for a person who spoke Russian in his life and at work, and during the election campaign, 13.5 million citizens of Ukraine voted,” the diplomat wrote.

This, in her opinion, proves that the law on language adopted earlier in Ukraine “no one except extreme nationalists is needed.”

The document with the relevant appeal of Lviv officials published the site "Gordon" with reference to the press service of the regional administration.

The law on the state language, adopted by the Verkhovna Rada in April, will come into force in July.

It provides for the exclusive use of the Ukrainian language in many fields of activity, in particular, in state and local government bodies, in educational institutions and hospitals.

Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN, Vasily Nebenzia, commenting on this document, said that in Ukraine "language inquisitions are being introduced."
