Roger Federer on center court and Rafael Nadal on court Suzanne-Lenglen each face a German opponent in the second round of Roland-Garros on Wednesday.
Federer, back on Paris clay after three failed editions, is opposed to the lucky loser Oscar Otte. Nadal, eleven-time winner of Roland-Garros, faces him Yannick Maden, from qualifying.
Before the Swiss champion, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, in search of his best level, challenged the Japanese Kei Nishikori, N.7 world.
The beautiful tricolor surprises of the first round, the very young Diane Parry, 16 years old and 457th worldwide, Nicolas Mahut and Pierre-Hugues Herbert, both victorious after being led two sets from scratch, are back on the courts. The last is opposed to Benoît Paire in a 100% French duel.
Richard Gasquet, Corentin Moutet, who competes with Argentina's Guido Pella, and Kristina Mladenovic, complete the blue program.
