On December 8, during the protest actions, the stringer Ruptly was surrounded by the police and interviewed in an aggressive manner, on November 24, correspondent Charlotte Dubensky suffered during coverage of the riots, December 1 - correspondent of the RT International TV channel Peter Stream, and on the same day during the riots journalist RT France Luke Lezhe was injured.

Commenting on these reports, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the French authorities to ensure the safety of journalists during protests.
