The most beneficial acts of worship
"The profession of the mashraati is one of the most beneficial acts of worship and most of them are fixed and paid in Ramadaan," said al-Mushrati Adnan al-Jazeera Net.

He explains that although he suffered an injury in his hand at the beginning of the holy month, he did not stop and asked Ibrahim, the son of his sister, to carry the drum, because the awakening of the people on the suhur has traditionally been learned from his grandfather for 18 years and does not imagine that he will stop practicing under any circumstances.

As for the drummer's move from his city to the capital, he pointed out that when he obtained the permit to practice the profession and identify the area from the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs ten years ago, the official offered him to charm people in the area of Tla 'Al-Ali.

Adnan asked his two brothers, Adil and Ala, who grow up and practice the mascara profession in Rusaifa, helping him awaken the inhabitants of the large area.

The three brothers come out in one car and share the inner streets of the area.

And meet after more than an hour on one of the streets - before dawn prayers - to eat the meal of Suhur food provided by some residents.

Cooler weather
This year, because of the cold weather, the three brothers eat the suhoor meal by car or at home with wives and children, Alaa told Al Jazeera Net.

Alaa, who practiced the profession with his grandfather at the age of 10, said that the excess food was distributed to some chaste families, reflecting a noble human image of the generosity of the Jordanians.

The three brothers faced embarrassing situations with some residents because of differences of religion or because of the discomfort of older people and children from the high sound of drums and mascara.

Alaa pointed out that the respect for the various views and the calm and wise handling of the disturbed person pays the latter - often - to apologize and welcome and bring the children to take pictures with the mascara.

Alaa asserts that al-Mishrati must respect different views and deal calmly and wisely with the person who is disturbed by the sound of the drum (Al-Jazeera)

The passion for Ramadan
The three brothers - who practice different professions in the day - eagerly await the arrival of Ramadan to awaken citizens, committed to the sanctity of the holy month in customs and traditions.

Adel said in a telephone interview with Al Jazeera Net about the relationship with the residents of the area that the residents are asking about his forced absence on many days this year, because of the presence of his son in the hospital.

He explained that this interest is based on a strong relationship and reflects the mutual esteem and respect between them and many of the population.

Adel pointed out that the problem of beggars' exploitation of the fact that some residents do not know the shape of the mascara, and their access to the end of the month Eid, does not cause anger nor anger of their brothers because getting reward and punishment is greater than money.
