A poll conducted by the Suwab Center on the role of the individual in eradicating extremist thought revealed that 36% of the 15,852 participants agreed that the promotion of tolerance and openness is one of the most important means of combating extremism as individuals, while 30% 25% agreed with participation in awareness campaigns, while 10% mentioned that there are other ways in which the individual can contribute to the elimination of extremism.

A participant in the survey stressed the importance of spreading learning and teaching others on the correct bases and principles derived from the tolerant Sharia, while the last saw the importance of tolerance, notification and awareness, noting that these three factors complement each other and take all necessary measures to defeat terrorism.

Another participant called for strengthening the values ​​of social justice among all groups of people in the Arab world. He said that the biggest incubator of extremism and terrorism is poverty, deprivation, ignorance and non-learning, all of which constitute the environment in which extremism and terrorism are created by hatred and revenge.

"Tolerance is a soft force and a modern tool to confront extremism, a way of preventing the evils of hate speech, political violence and the ideology of terrorist groups," he said, pointing out that "tolerance" is the joint initiative of the United Arab Emirates to combat the propaganda and ideas of terrorists on the Internet. That violent tendencies often come in the form of a reaction to a regime that rejects diversity and is united by the values ​​of love, coexistence and tolerance capable of defeating the trends of extremism and blind terrorism.

The Center warned that: "The hate speech is spread like wildfire in social media, and we must put it out." He also pointed out that the followers of misguidance: "Use honest conversations, and remove them from their context, to serve their bloody ends, and convince the weak minds."

A deceptive ideology

The Center stressed the importance of individuals to focus their information from reliable sources to learn religion, and attention to the destructive plans of extremist groups, and its goal to create a generation that imbibes their deceptive ideology of hatred and destruction.

The center of truth pointed out that the followers of misguidance are basing their lies, such as the poisonous thread that wraps around the recipient's mind to confuse, intimidate and mislead him, directing a question to the reader: Do you follow your instincts and reasoning that advises you against what they claim or fall into the nets of their tricks that are exposed to the world?

Seventy percent of the 11,125 participants in the Right Center questionnaire agreed that young people are the most vulnerable to extremist thinking, with participants generally focusing on comments that science and knowledge are among the strongest weapons to combat the spread of extremism.
