The letter will be published in the UN as an official Security Council document, noted there.

On May 20, the Security Council refused to put on the agenda the question of the Ukrainian law on state language. Six countries voted against it.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, in a conversation with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French leader Emmanuel Macron, expressed bewilderment over the refusal of some countries to discuss this topic.

Member of the Federation Council Olga Timofeyeva commented on the decision of the countries to the ANF.
