A 77-year-old French-Spanish nun was found murdered in a village where she taught sewing to girls in the west of the Central African Republic, according to the official portal of the Holy See.

According to Vatican News, the nun was found beheaded Monday, May 21, but according to a bishop of his diocese Spanish home she was slaughtered for reasons still unknown. "On the night of Sunday to Monday, her attackers entered her room and took her to the center she was teaching for the girls, where they beheaded her," writes Vatican News.
