“Once again we demand from the US government to comply with the convention on diplomatic relations, protect our diplomatic representation in Washington and respect human rights for activists who protect the building with the permission of the Bolivarian government of Venezuela,” wrote Venezuelan Foreign Minister Jorge Arreas in his microblog in Twitter.

Earlier it became known that the American police infiltrated the Venezuelan diplomatic mission and tried to persuade supporters of the President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, to leave the building.

On May 11, US authorities turned off the water and lights in the Venezuelan embassy in Washington.
