“The idea itself is not new. It is striking that time after time it sounds from the mouth of a person whose immediate task is the development of relations between Great Britain and Russia, ”the diplomatic mission noted.
It is noted that inter-parliamentary relations between Russia and Britain are "in such a deplorable state" because of the unconstructive position of Bryant.
It also points out that Bryant’s appeals directly contradict recent statements by the British ambassador Lori Bristow about the desire to stabilize relations with Russia.
“Unfortunately, so far we have not seen the real steps of our British partners towards even this modest guideline,” the report says.
Earlier, British Foreign Minister Jeremy Hunt called on Russia to condemn for supporting Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.
