According to him, they also discussed issues of Russian-American relations, the situation in the DPRK, in Afghanistan, as well as the issue of a Joint Comprehensive Action Plan on the Iranian nuclear program.
The minister added that an agreement was reached on the resumption of bilateral channels of communication.
“We agreed to resume communication channels, recently these channels have been frozen, including to a large extent because of the wave of baseless accusations against us,” he said.
Negotiations of the heads of the Russian and American foreign affairs agencies lasted about three hours.
