He said that he had a telephone conversation with Zelensky, during which he congratulated him on his election as president of the country and wished him success in his work.
“We agreed to hold a bilateral meeting in the near future and discuss topical issues,” Dodon wrote.
Both leaders also discussed Moldovan-Ukrainian relations.
Earlier, Zelensky had a telephone conversation with Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurtz.
