The president of the Criminal Court of Paris delivered Tuesday, the second day of the Balkany trial, details on the lifestyle of the couple.

IN THE HEARING ROOM

This is another busy day on Tuesday, the second day of the Balkany trial, in the Paris Criminal Court. The mayor of Levallois-Perret Patrick Balkany, judged with his wife Isabelle Balkany notably for tax fraud and money laundering, spoke for the first time, reading two letters written by his wife to the investigating judge in February 2016 and February 2017 .

In her missives, Isabelle Balkany denounces the rape of her private life since the break-up of the affair, complains of her judicial control which prevents her from seeing her grandchildren as well as the seizure of her assets which handicaps her train of life. She then said she was guilty of opprobrium and, as in a premonitory sign, she concluded each of her two letters expressing her temptation to "bow out irreversibly". Isabelle Balkany has been absent from court since the trial began on Monday and is still hospitalized since her suicide attempt in early May.

#Balkany his letter ends "when I arrived at the end (of my strength) I would bow with or without a passport". "It was in 2017, I would not read his post Facebook before swallowing 40 mortal pills because everyone saw me read and commented" ends PB

Tickets of 500 euros and Euromillions

Previously, the president of the court detailed the expensive lifestyle of the couple, during an unusually long but rich two-hour reading. In particular, the 1,258 m² and 11 rooms of the Giverny mill in Normandy were mentioned, as well as the 3,500 euros found in 500 euros banknotes at the bottom of a pocket of a suit left to the laundry. We also learn that Isabelle Balkany played several hundred euros every week at the Euromillions, and filled her Mini car so much in the supermarket that she had to have the rest of her races delivered.

#Balkany "I was wondering what she was doing in life to always have € 500 bills on her," says the supermarket manager who finally recognizes her on a TV show.

#Balkany Another testimonial from a Giverny employee to whom the Balkany gave about 2000 € in cash every week to go shopping and who estimates "they threw their money out the windows, they liked to buy the ens with their money"
