The Italian Embassy in Khartoum published a video of Ambassador Fabrizio Lopeza in Khartoum, echoing a Sudanese song with the protesters.

On the rhythms of the music, the ambassador echoed the song "I'm Sudanese" and expressed great interaction with the young people.

The protesters - who have been holding a sit-in since April 6 to demand the transfer of power to a civilian administration - have been visited by several diplomatic delegations to support their demands.

Last week, the US Chargé d'affaires in Khartoum, Stephen Coates, visited the sit-in square on his second visit since the protests began, and diplomatic delegations from the embassies of Germany, France and the Netherlands visited Sweden.
