The UAE has launched a campaign to distribute "water coolers" to mosques in various liberated Yemeni provinces, targeting 500 mosques, coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan.
The UAE Red Crescent said that a number of refrigerators and water tanks were installed in the mosques in the city of Aden, pointing out that the campaign aims to provide water coolers of different sizes and water tanks of 1000 liters.
The United Arab Emirates, through its Red Crescent Society in Yemen, distributed the second phase of Ramadan to the poorest and low-income families in the Jardan district of Shabwa governorate as part of its humanitarian and relief efforts in Yemen. , Alleviate their suffering, improve their living conditions, and coincide with the Year of Tolerance.
The UAE Red Crescent team in Shabwa distributed 800 food baskets, including 67 tons, to 5040 poor and low-income families in the Jardan district to alleviate the suffering of Yemeni families in light of the worsening humanitarian situation in Shabwa. The number of food baskets distributed since the beginning of the year 2019 tolerance amounted to 93,759 food basket, targeting 129935 members of needy families and affected in the province of Shabwa, an average of 1644 tons and 934 kg.
