The Sharjah Criminal Court has filed a case involving four people of Asian nationalities accused of defrauding security officers and assaulting a person of their nationality, stealing a purse of AED 2,850 and a mobile phone after placing them in their car by force and beating him.

The details of the case, according to the complainant, went back as he was walking in the industrial area of ​​Sharjah. A car stopped by the accused. Two of them came down. They told him that they were interrogations. They asked him to come out with his identity card and asked him whether he was staying or visiting. And then they assaulted him and beat him inside. They stole his wallet, which contained 2850 dirhams, and his phone, and a jacket of leather he was wearing, and they stopped at another factory in Sharjah and removed him.

He pointed out that he was able to take the car number and went immediately to the police station and reported the incident and were caught.

The court confronted the defendants with charges of defrauding the men of the investigation and assaulting and stealing the victim. They denied the charges. They said they were caught for selling liquor. They were dealing with alcohol and the complainant was one of those responsible for trade in alcohol. And hit him, pointing out that on the date of seizure did not control alcoholic drinks with them.

The defense lawyers asked to postpone the case to file the case and prepare for the defense, while the prosecutor asked to condemn the defendants. The court postponed the case for May 26 to summon other witnesses to hear their statements.
