The Kingdom of Bahrain has strongly condemned acts of sabotage targeting commercial cargo ships near the territorial waters of the UAE in the Gulf of Oman, near the Emirate of Fujairah and in the economic waters of the State, in a dangerous criminal act that threatens the security and safety of maritime traffic.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain - in a statement of solidarity of the Kingdom and its full stand with the United Arab Emirates sister in all actions taken to protect its security and preserve its interests.
"The international community must shoulder its responsibilities to ensure the safety of maritime traffic and to confront any threat to international peace and security," the statement said.
