According to Suzdaltsev, Poroshenko formally acted within the framework of a parliamentary-presidential republic, but actually created an authoritarian system, consisting, as the expert noted, of people personally loyal to him.

“The result was a tacit authoritarian structure that has proven its effectiveness. Because Poroshenko controlled the Verkhovna Rada, the government, the National Bank and the Supreme Court, the army, the SBU — all the main institutions. Poroshenko is now acting behind the scenes, trying to maintain his influence on the government, on Ukraine — hence such obstacles, both in the Rada and in court, and in matters of inauguration, ”he added.

The expert believes that Zelensky will have less ability to manage than Poroshenko, including in the issue of revising the decisions of the outgoing government.

“He has no formed faction that would control the Rada. He has not yet passed the "casting" in the West ... I think that everything will not be so easy, "concluded Suzdaltsev.

It became known earlier that the team of the elected President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, intends to reconsider the “odious decisions” of the current leadership of the country.
