Eleven scooters were released from Marseille's marina, including some self-service vehicles, introduced in Marseille by several companies in recent weeks.

Seven tons of waste

The teams of divers, with a total of 150 volunteers mobilized on land and under water, have also helped to raise the surface of tires, cans, construction panels, supermarket trolleys or even a scooter, indicated the nautical clubs of the Phocaean city which oversaw the spring operation.

In total, seven tons of waste were taken out of the water, and for the first year, will be retired, they said.
