A delegation from the German Embassy in Khartoum visited the protesters in front of the General Command of the Central Khartoum Army.

A video on social media showed members of the delegation - led by Holger Tillman, deputy head of the mission - and they were sharing chanting, singing and dancing.

The German Embassy in Khartoum has been active in consolidating popular diplomacy with programs related to cooking, sports and culture, and has become popular.

The protesters - who have been holding a sit-in for more than a month to demand the transfer of power to a civilian administration - have visited several diplomatic delegations from foreign embassies accredited to Khartoum to support their demands.

Last week, the US charge d'affaires in Khartoum, Stephen Kotsis, visited the sit-in on his second visit since the start of the sit-in on April 6.
