Pre-election campaign of presidential candidates began in Kazakhstan

As Interfax reports, the campaign began at 18:00 Nur-Sultan (15:00 Moscow time) and will end at 00:00 June 8 (21:00 June 7 Moscow time).

June 8 announced the day of silence before the election.

The CEC issued registration to seven candidates, among them the current head of Kazakhstan, Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev.

Earlier, the first president of the republic, Nursultan Nazarbayev, asked citizens to support Tokayev.
