The movement considered in a statement by its spokesman Gamal Nazzal that these positions "are proof of the strength of the international front in support of the inalienable Palestinian right, in accordance with the balance of power."

The movement called on all countries of the world to "take practical measures in the economic, political, academic and cultural fields, to prevent dealing with settlements in any way that would allow the occupying power to take advantage of this wrong work."

It also urged the EU countries in particular to consider with grave seriousness the devastating effects of Israeli settlement in all areas of Palestinian life, primarily political, social, environmental, economic and health.

The Fatah movement stressed the need to take measures to prohibit the entry of groups of settlers into Europe, especially known as "violent terrorism against the Palestinian people, individuals and residential communities in Palestine."

On Thursday evening, 14 member states of the UN Security Council criticized Israeli settlement activity on the occupied Palestinian territory, stressing the illegality of the settlements and calling on Israel to stop settlement expansion.
